Baked Apples


For delicious, healthy baked apples, follow these directions. You’ll need:

Granny Smith Apples
2 Tablespoons Grape Nuts Cereal/apple
2 Tablespoons Sugar/apple

Directions:

Step 1. Wash apple(s) and core.

Step 2. Place apple(s) right side up in a medium sized baking dish.

Step 3. Layer the sugar and Grape Nuts in the apple until the core is full to slightly overflowing.

Step 4. Sprinkle 2 teaspoons of water on each apple.

Step 5. Add a little water to the bottom of the baking dish.

Step 6. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until apples are soft.
